NexumLab grew out of years of independent freelance work: building web apps, automations and infrastructure for businesses, one project at a time.
The studio keeps what made that work succeed. You talk directly to the engineer building your software. The scope is written down before anything starts. And at handover, nothing is held back: the code, the accounts and the knowledge are yours.

Four principles behind every project.
Small by design
The people who scope your project are the people who build it. There is no account layer between you and the work, and nothing gets lost in translation.
Written before built
Scope, milestones, price and exclusions are agreed on paper first. It protects your budget, and it forces us to understand the problem before touching it.
Boring technology, on purpose
We choose widely used, well-documented tools so your software outlives our involvement. Your next engineer should be able to read every line.
Honest about fit
Sometimes the right answer is an off-the-shelf tool or no project at all. Saying so early costs us a sale and earns something more useful.
The name
nex·um
Latin, noun. In Roman law, a binding obligation between two parties who had given their word. We took the name as a standard to be held to, and wrote it down as six clauses.

Scope in writing, before code
You get a written scope listing what we will build, what we will not, the milestones and the price. Nothing starts until you have signed it.

Code, repositories, cloud accounts, domains and data sit in your name from the first day. There is nothing to hand back if we part ways.

Working software every week
Each week ends with something you can click, not a status update. You always know exactly where the project stands.

A reply within one business day
Emails are answered within one business day, during the project and after it.

Straight answers on fit
If a simpler tool, an off-the-shelf product or no build at all is the right answer, we will tell you, even when it means no project for us.

Thirty days of fixes after launch
If something we built breaks in the first thirty days after launch, we fix it at no extra cost.
